Description[]
Akatsuki Suzurin, grew up in the slums, she was looked down upon by both demons and humans for being a halfbreed. She was forced to fend for herself, this is how she became proficient in marital arts. She would often steal bread from caravans entering into the city. One day a guard found Akatsuki brawling in an alleyway with someone attempting to assault her. The guard did not reveal themselves and simply watched, Akatsuki proved victorious and her assailant fled. The guard then revealed themselves, Akatsuki raised her guard expecting the worst. The guard accepted her challenge, Akatsuki was no match for the guard who used advanced magics to ward off all of her blows. When Akatsuki knew she could not compete she turned and attempted to flee, however the guard cornered her. Upon which he knocked her out, she awoke not in a cell but in a barracks. The guard that had knocked her out sitting next to her. When he noticed she had awoken he muttered one thing. "You have potential." Akatsuki looked confused, unsure about what he was referring to. The guard saw her puzzled face and elaborated. "It's clear you are half-demon, I take it you were never trained to use magic. The orange hue of your horns is uncommon, your mana attempting to burst forth from your horns causes this discoloration." How would you like to train under me to become a member of the royal guard?" Akatsuki considered the option and reluctantly accepted, believing her alternative was being locked in a dungeon.
After many years of training Akatsuki become extremely proficient in many forms of fighting. Surpassing most of her peers, the way she seamlessly mixed marital arts and magic together to overwhelm her foes was unheard of. While raising up through the ranks she she was tested for compatibility with the Royal Divine Arms, and it was found that she was compatible with one, Eon a longword with unknown abilities. Upon obtaining the sword she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. To this day she wears the sword but chooses not to use it, for she would prefer to help reform those who do wrong, having grown up in a bad situation herself.

Waifu Wars #1[]
Akatsuki was created on August 6, 2020. She was submitted to Waifu Wars #1 by Arimil.
In the first round, she beat balthros7's character 47-43. Moving on the round 2 she gained the name Akatsuki Suzurin, and lost to ThndrWolf's character Luna Ulfhethnar 28-49.
The official backstory was obtained unofficially. Akatsuki's name originates from 3 characters. Akatsuki from Log Horizon, Suzuno from Hataraku Maou-sama and Rin from Fate Stay Night.
Arimil submitted Akatsuki Suzurin to Leaflit's Rate My Waifu. Leaflit replied, "Do I look like Bruce Willis to you, Arimil? 'Cause I don't see dead people." She then took a sip of tea, said "See you after the VR meetup," and cut to intermission.
